Affiliate disclosure
The lab earns money in exactly one way: commissions from casinos when a reader follows a partner link. This page explains where those links appear, how they are marked and why they cannot touch a single measured number.
Where the money comes from
one model, no exceptionsSlotester Lab is paid, when it is paid at all, by online casinos through affiliate agreements: if a reader opens a casino through a partner link on this site and registers or deposits, the casino pays the lab a commission. Readers pay nothing extra, and the casino's terms for the reader are the same with or without the link. There is no subscription, no advertising network and no sponsored content in reviews.
How partner links look
you can always tell one apart- Placement
- Only under the demo player of a review, as a "Play for real" button next to the free demo. Never inside the text, tables or verdict.
- Markup
- Every partner link carries rel="nofollow sponsored" and opens in a new tab. Search engines and browser tools see it as advertising.
- Tracking
- The link records which page it was clicked on so the lab can see what readers use. No cookies are set by this site for that purpose.
- Editorial links
- Links to game studios, help organisations and other reviews are plain links and earn nothing.
What a partner can and cannot change
the line between commerce and measurementCan
- Which casino appears on the "Play for real" button under a demo.
- Whether a button appears at all on a given review.
Cannot
- Any measured number: RTP, hit rate, droughts, buy value, drawdown.
- The verdict, the pros and cons, or a single sentence of the text.
- Which games are tested, in what order, or whether a review is published.
- The spin log or its checksum.
- The ranking of games on the site, which is sorted by measured data or date only.
The separation is mechanical, not a promise: the numbers are computed from the logged session by software that has no field for a partner, and the log is public. A reader who suspects an edit can recompute every figure from the file.
Game studios
no commercial relationshipThe lab has no agreement with any game studio. Studios do not pay for tests, cannot commission them, are not shown reviews before publication and cannot have a run repeated. The demo games on review pages are loaded from the studio's own servers under the studio's terms; the lab does not host or modify them. All 10 published tests to date are of Pragmatic Play titles because that is the protocol the rig currently speaks, not because of any arrangement.
Current status
updated automatically from the site configurationReviews show the free demo only. When a partner is added, the button appears under the demo and this line changes.
