Privacy policy
The site collects almost nothing and this page lists all of it: server logs, field notes with their screenshots, e-mail you send, and the cookies you may receive from the network layer and from demo games. No analytics, no accounts, no profiles.

Cookies
what your browser may receive from this site- From this site
none for readersThe field-notes form does not store your name in a cookie, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. Login cookies exist only for the editor.- From the network layer
__cf_bm, cf_clearanceThe site is served through Cloudflare, which may set short-lived security cookies to tell browsers from bots. They carry no profile.- From demo games
set by the game studioA demo loads inside a frame from the studio's own domain only after you press play. Its cookies and its privacy policy are the studio's.- From partner casinos
set on their siteFollowing a partner link takes you to the operator; what they set is under their policy. The lab receives no personal data back, only an anonymous count.
Field notes and screenshots
the one place you can hand us data- A note is published with the name you typed and the text. The e-mail address is required so the editor can reply or verify a claim; it is never displayed and never passed on.
- A screenshot is re-encoded on upload: it is converted to WebP, resized to at most 1,400 pixels wide, and its metadata (camera, location, software tags) is discarded in the process. The original file is not kept.
- Notes are held for moderation before they appear. Rejected notes are deleted; published notes stay until you ask for removal or the review is taken down.
- If your screenshot shows a casino account, blur or crop balances and names before posting. The lab crops images that expose someone else's details.
Third parties
who else is in the loop| Party | Role |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Proxies every request to the site: caching, TLS, bot filtering. Sees IP addresses as part of that. |
| Game studios | Serve the demo games in a frame once you press play, and receive your browser's requests directly at that point. |
| Casino operators | Only if you follow a partner link. They report a count of registrations to the lab, without names. |
| Nobody else | No analytics vendors, advertising networks, social plugins, fonts loaded from third-party servers, or data brokers. |
Your rights
one address for all of themYou can ask what the site holds about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to lab@slotester.com from the address you used, name the review if it concerns a field note, and the editor handles it personally. Deleting a note removes the text, the screenshot file and the attachment record. Server-log entries cannot be matched to a person and are not searched.
The site is intended for adults. If a note appears to have been posted by a minor, it is removed.
Changes
This page describes what the site actually does today. If the site starts doing something new with data, this page changes first and the date at the top moves with it.
