How it plays

The game uses a 5x3 grid and 25 fixed lines, and lines pay for runs of one symbol on neighbouring reels counted from reel 1; a 0.08 coin across the 25 lines makes the USD 2.00 stake used here. Five Cai Shen symbols pay 3.2x the bet, and two of him already pay 0.16x, which no other symbol does; five bulls pay 2x, five rabbits, pigs, snakes or aces 1.2x, and the four lower cards 0.8x. The Wild, a red tile with the character for fortune, lands on the four reels after the first and replaces any symbol but BONUS COIN and MONEY symbols.
Four chests sit above the reels, and each base-game BONUS COIN is collected into one of them: green into Prosperity, blue into Fulfillment, red into Double and purple into Longevity, while a QUAD coin drops into all four. Any collection can randomly start the CHEST RESPIN feature with anything from one to all four of the chests' modifiers.
When the feature starts, the coins on screen turn into MONEY symbols of the same value and the other symbols disappear. Three respins are given, and every MONEY symbol that lands stays and resets the count to three; values run from 0.6x to 30x the bet or show MINI (10x), MINOR (20x) or MAJOR (150x). Play stops once the counter reaches zero or no empty position is left, a full grid adds the GRAND at 5,000x, and the values on screen are then added together.
Prosperity can upgrade up to three MONEY values after each respin, Double plays the feature on two 5x3 grids, and Longevity starts with four respins and resets to four. Fulfillment splits the grid into four zones and gives each a multiplier of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x or 100x, which applies to the MONEY values only once that zone is filled.
Two buy buttons skip the wait: 200x the bet for 100X FULFILLMENT, with Fulfillment active and at least one 100x zone guaranteed, or 750x for 100X QUAD, with all four modifiers and a 100x zone on each grid. The base game and both buys are each listed at 96.50% RTP, the bet menu spans USD 0.25 up to USD 250.00, and the game is marked high volatility. The 100x zone had to fill
Prosperity and Longevity were the modifiers seen most often in ordinary play, in 69 and 66 of the 162 natural Chest Respins, against 49 for Fulfillment and 39 for Double. Longevity on its own was the weakest version, 37 rounds that averaged 20.18x the stake. Counted with their trigger spins, the natural features paid USD 11,856.80, 61.13% of everything the ordinary series returned.
Zones completed in the 49 natural Fulfillment rounds multiplied by 2x to 5x, 3x most often with 41 zones, and no natural grid ever showed a 100x zone. MINI and MINOR coins turned up, yet none of the 212 features in the test landed a MAJOR or covered a grid for the GRAND.
The USD 400 purchase guarantees the 100x zone, but the zone still has to fill: 19 of the 50 tickets completed it and returned USD 22,904.40, 93.10% of the USD 24,601.20 the buys paid. Ticket 28 was the only one of them below the price, at 0.954x, while ticket 50 led the 31 others at 0.648x. Does the guaranteed 100x multiplier make the USD 400 Fulfillment buy pay off?
No. The 100x value applies only to the MONEY symbols of a zone that is filled completely, and all 50 tickets had such a zone on the grid. Nineteen filled it, and 18 of those beat the USD 400 price; the 31 tickets that left it open all came back below the price, with a 0.0960x median and USD 1,696.80 returned for USD 12,400.
