How it plays
24 rules screens from the gameHellcatraz plays on six reels of six rows with 46,656 ways: a symbol pays when it appears on each reel in turn from the leftmost one, and several copies on one reel multiply the ways. Nine symbols pay, from the Warden at FUN 4 for six of a kind at the FUN 2 stake down to the four low symbols at FUN 0.80; reels two through six carry a Wild. Winning symbols leave the board and new ones drop in, so a stake can run through several screens.
The cells framed as prison windows are Mystery symbols. Each carries a counter that drops by one with every cascade, and when it reaches zero all Mystery cells on the board turn into one symbol at once. Before the first spin the game asks for a mode: Lockdown gives every Mystery cell the same counter, Mixed keeps two independent counters, and the rules list 96.46% RTP for Lockdown against 96.30% for Mixed. The demo server starts in Mixed mode and the whole series stayed there.
Key symbols fill a meter beside the reels; 2,000 keys start Super Free Spins with five spins. During the feature Mystery cells reveal as soon as they land, and a Golden Mystery cell needs two cascades to add one extra spin, which is the only way the feature grows. The meter keeps counting in both modes and carries any surplus over into the next collection.
Buy Feature costs 200 times the stake, FUN 400 at FUN 2, and opens the five spins at once; a top-up option sells only the keys still missing at 0.1 stakes each. The build quotes 96.83% for the purchase, a 51,843x cap, stakes between FUN 0.10 and FUN 1,000, and marks Mixed mode as high volatility and Lockdown as super high.

The money in the base game sits in one moment. All six rounds above 100x were ordinary spins, and in every one the last cascade, the screen on which the Mystery counters reached zero, paid 94 to 99% of the round: round 599 ran five screens for FUN 30.60, then 21 cells became clovers for FUN 600; round 6879 paid FUN 15.20 on two screens and FUN 576 when 15 cells turned into handcuffs. Reveals happened in 188 of 10,000 rounds, and the 288 rounds that cascaded twice or more, 2.9% of the series, carried 39.3% of the payout.

- The meter took about 4,570 spins per bonus, so the feature came twice in the whole series
- Fifty purchases at FUN 400 returned 0.83x of price; 38 lost and five came back with FUN 40 or less
- Nine dead stretches of 20 spins or more; a 50-stake bankroll was gone by spin 75 and 200 stakes by spin 567
