How it plays
15 rules screens from the gameThe Hunter Wild is four symbols tall and can land on reels 2, 3 or 4, nudging until the whole stack is visible. Each nudge raises its multiplier by one, and multipliers from several Hunter Wilds are added together. Every paying way starts on reel 1 and requires matching symbols across at least three consecutive reels; the 3-4-4-4-3 layout supplies 576 ways, with five Gold Bars worth 3.75x the stake per way before the multiplier.
With three Scatters, the bonus choice offers eight spins of Hunter or Gunslinger. Hunter puts at least one Hunter Wild on every spin, but a Wild still needs a paying combination. Gunslinger keeps its running multiplier for the feature: Hunter Wild nudges increase it, and another Wild adds one. The rules describe this running multiplier as unlimited.
Sheriff Badges occupy the two outside reels. In the base game a badge on both ends starts a Shoot Out, turning low symbols on the middle three reels into Wilds. During free spins, each new badge adds one spin; a pair on the same spin upgrades the feature to Shoot Out, locks the badges and repeats the low-symbol conversion on each remaining spin. A base-game pair alongside three Scatters instead starts a ten-spin Shoot Out feature; locked badges cannot keep adding spins.
The standard bonus ticket costs 71x the ordinary bet, and the ticket starting directly in Shoot Out costs 750x. Ordinary-game RTP depends on the chosen feature: 96.02% Gunslinger or 96.03% Hunter; the 71x ticket is 96.06% or 96.11%, and the 750x ticket 96.08% or 96.12%, in the same order. This client accepts EUR 0.20 to EUR 100 base bets; the rules give a simulated maximum payout of 13,950x the bet, which the provider's simulation reaches about once in 10 billion rounds. Nolimit City rates the game 10.0, Extreme, while the choice screen labels Hunter High and Gunslinger Extreme.

Verdict
What remains after the multiplier climbsTicket 31's Shoot Out upgrade was the only one across the natural and purchased features, and its EUR 863.70 payout made a substantial difference to the purchase total. The 50 standard tickets cost EUR 3,550 and returned EUR 4,228.50, but removing that one ticket leaves the other 49 at 0.9672x their combined price. The median purchased payout was EUR 48.10, or 0.677x the EUR 71 price, and 35 tickets failed to cover their cost.
Hunter and Gunslinger appeared 25 times apiece among the natural features; purchases produced 29 Hunter and 21 Gunslinger entries. These were the server's default choices, so the pooled return describes that particular mixture rather than a fixed selection. Hunter's guaranteed Wild did not guarantee a win: 70 of its 218 natural free spins paid nothing.
Ticket 10 had already paid EUR 320.60 when its twelfth and final Gunslinger spin raised the stored multiplier from x21 to x25 without a paying combination. The feature ended there, leaving the highest multiplier observed anywhere in either statistical series with no later spin on which to earn a return.
- The strongest ordinary round paid EUR 310.95, including EUR 310.90 from eight Gunslinger free spins
- Gunslinger keeps multiplier growth from losing spins: 22 natural spins raised it while paying nothing
- One of 50 EUR 71 tickets upgraded to Shoot Out on free spin 7 and paid EUR 863.70, 12.165x its price
- The ordinary EUR 1 series ended EUR 1,504.65 below its starting balance
- 888 consecutive EUR 1 rounds passed between the natural features at rounds 4995 and 5884
- The lowest purchased payout was EUR 1.20 after nine Gunslinger spins
- Bought Gunslinger tickets had a median return of only EUR 19.10

10000 ordinary paid rounds, including naturally triggered features, at a fixed EUR 1.0 bet; 50 bonus buys at 71.0 each (71.0x); mode: Standard EUR 1 demo stakes; server-selected free-spin choices without playerInteraction: natural features 25 Gunslinger, 25 Hunters; 50 standard EUR 71 tickets 21 Gunslinger, 29 Hunters. This is a mixed-mode sample, not a controlled comparison of Hunter and Gunslinger. The displayed 96.03% is the Hunter ordinary-game reference; Gunslinger is 96.02%. Standard-ticket theoretical RTP is 96.06% Gunslinger / 96.11% Hunter. The EUR 750 Shoot Out ticket was not tested. FAQ
8 questions · answered from the logHow regularly did Deadwood trigger its free spins?
Natural features numbered 50 across the 10,000 ordinary EUR 1 rounds: one per 200 rounds on average, with 888 trigger-free rounds between entries 4995 and 5884. EUR 200 per observed trigger is gross wagering, not the net cost of reaching a feature, because it excludes intervening payouts.
Does mixing Hunter and Gunslinger change the stated RTP?
Hardly. The rules give 96.02% for Gunslinger and 96.03% for Hunter, so any mixture of the two sits between them. The 10,000 ordinary EUR 1 rounds returned 84.95%; the 95% confidence interval for that mean, by normal approximation, spans 70.83% to 99.08%, and it neither predicts the next session nor tests fairness.
Is the EUR 71 bonus purchase a dependable way to finish ahead?
No. 35 of the 50 EUR 71 tickets paid less than their price; a typical ticket, the median, came back with EUR 48.10, or 0.677x. The 1.191x mean depended on ticket 31's EUR 863.70, the single Shoot Out upgrade. The rules give the standard ticket a theoretical 96.06% to 96.11% RTP, below its cost over the long run.
Can Gunslinger's multiplier increase on a losing spin?
Yes: 22 natural Gunslinger spins increased the stored multiplier while paying zero. In ordinary round 2192, free spin 3 took it from x4 to x7 without a win; later spins could still use that saved value. A multiplier change is therefore not itself a payout.
Were all long bonuses caused by Sheriff Badge extensions?
Yes. Every natural and purchased feature began with eight spins, so each longer one was extended by Sheriff Badges: 22 of 50 natural features gained 30 spins and 19 of 50 tickets gained 29. The longest natural feature, round 5884, played 12 Hunter spins for EUR 58.80; an initial ten-spin Shoot Out award would be counted separately, but none occurred.
What changed when a EUR 71 Gunslinger ticket upgraded to Shoot Out mid-feature?
On ticket 31 both Sheriff Badges locked during free spin 7, the feature gained two spins, and low symbols on the middle reels became Wilds. The following three spins paid EUR 229.50, EUR 389.25 and EUR 90.00 with the saved multiplier at x9. The complete ten-spin ticket returned EUR 863.70; that is the whole purchased feature, not the value of one screen.
Hunter or Gunslinger: which paid more in this test?
Hunter, in the natural features: 25 Hunter features averaged EUR 83.61 from free spins, median EUR 60.80, against EUR 46.16, median EUR 38.10, for 25 Gunslinger features. Among bought tickets Gunslinger's EUR 108.46 average rested on tickets 31 and 10, while its median was only EUR 19.10 against EUR 53.20 for Hunter. The server picked the mode each time, so neither group is a controlled comparison.
Did Deadwood's 13,950x maximum appear?
No. A simulated maximum payout of 13,950x the bet, reached about once in 10 billion rounds, is what the rules list. The best of the 10,000 ordinary EUR 1 rounds paid 310.95x, and the best of 50 EUR 71 tickets paid 863.70x the base stake, 12.165x its price; both stayed far below that maximum.
