How it plays
20 rules screens from the game
On the 5x3 grid of Rice & Riches: Hold and Win all 10 paylines stay active on every spin. A line counts matching symbols wherever they stand on it, so a four-of-a-kind can skip a reel, and only its highest win is paid. Blue Teapots top the table at 500x the total bet for five, Rice Bowls give 200x and Maki Rolls 100x, while Wasabi and the Soy Sauce Bowl share the smallest pay, 2.5x for five.
Coins never pay on lines. A coin carries a cash value, a Collect mark or a Mini or Major jackpot; when a Collect coin lands on the same spin as value coins their total goes straight into the win, on ordinary spins and during free spins alike, and a jackpot coin on the board with a Collect pays its prize too. The bar above the reels shows Mini at 10x, Major at 50x and Grand at 1000x the bet.
Six coins or more start Hold and Win. The coins lock, only the empty positions spin, and every new coin puts the counter back to three respins; jackpot coins add their Mini or Major at the end, and a board with all 15 positions covered awards the Grand. Hold and Win can begin on an ordinary spin or during free spins, which carry on once it ends.
A Fortune Cookie Scatter pays wherever it lands: three of them are worth 5x the bet and open 10 free spins, four 25x and five 200x, and another trio during the feature adds 10 spins. Through Risk'n'Buy the 10 free spins are priced at 100 bets and a Hold and Win that opens with six locked coins at 50, while the Risk Wheel can stake any win for up to x1000; all 50 purchases in this test were free spins, and the wheel was never spun.
On plain spins the declared RTP is 95.57%, and 95.19% with Risk'n'Buy in play. The smallest stake is FUN 0.10 and the largest FUN 50, wins stop at x1000, and Mascot's own page rates the volatility High.

Ordinary play climbed from 90.3% in the first run to 93.24% in the second and 102.27% in the third, while the FUN 100 purchases went the opposite way, 124.3%, 113.43% and then 101.71% of their cost. Pooled, the 30,000 rounds measured 95.27% and the 150 tickets 113.15%.
Hit rates of 37.5%, 38.21% and 38.58% sat close together, and the median natural bonus round read 55.6x, 58.0x and 57.2x. Coins opened Hold and Win from the base game 38, 49 and 52 times, and that money made 8.64%, 9.64% and 10.98% of ordinary payouts.

- FUN 815.20 came back on ticket 15 of the first run, 8.152x its FUN 100 price
- Third-run free spins came 43 times, one per 232.6 rounds, the most of the three

Run 01·2026-11-06·90.30%
A payline of five Blue Teapots, the 500x top line, turned up on one free spin of each purchase that passed five times its FUN 100 price: FUN 587.50 on the fourth spin of ticket 15, FUN 582.50 on the 15th of ticket 27, FUN 500.00 on the second of ticket 46 and FUN 516.00 on the ninth of ticket 48. With those four the 50 tickets brought back FUN 6,214.90 for FUN 5,000, 124.30% of the cost, though the median ticket returned 0.627x / FUN 62.70.
Ordinary play never reached that line. Round 7079, the best of 40 natural bonuses, paid 249.5x the FUN 1.00 stake over 10 free spins, and round 7736, the best without free spins, paid 95.0x. Natural bonuses came once per 250 rounds on average and added up to 32.1% of ordinary payouts, at a median of 55.6x.
Coins opened Hold and Win 38 times from the base game, and those features paid FUN 780.10, 8.64% of ordinary payouts; the top one, round 9740, reached 67.8x with a Collect coin on the board. Major coins turned up in 7 ordinary rounds, but none of those rounds paid more than 1.70x, so the 50x prize was never collected and no board was ever covered for the Grand.
Run 02·2026-11-06·93.24%
Round 1140 ran to 30 free spins and paid 246.5x the FUN 1.00 stake, its largest spin being the first at 85.0x; the rest came in pieces of 37.5x and less, the closing spin adding 15.0x.
Scatters triggered just 31 natural bonuses in 10,000 rounds, one per 322.6, and after round 6308 the base game went 993 rounds without one. That wait ended at round 7302, which paid 183.9x over 20 spins, a 35.2x Hold and Win on its fourth. Ordinary play measured 93.24%, leaving the balance FUN 676.50 below where it began.
Base-game coins triggered Hold and Win 49 times, at a median of 17.8x, and none of those boards went past round 2486's 35.4x. Fifty FUN 100 purchases came back at 113.43% of their cost, the median ticket at 0.9x, FUN 90.00; ticket 2 paid FUN 639.00, FUN 582.50 of it on the fifth spin.
Run 03·2026-11-06·102.27%
The balance ended FUN 227.00 above its FUN 10,000 start, a measured 102.27%, and leaving out round 8032, the best at 219.8x, the remaining 9,999 rounds still came to 100.08%. Round 8032 got there over 20 free spins: 152.7x on the twelfth, then a 31.6x Hold and Win on the fourteenth, after which the free spins carried on to the last.
Scatters triggered free spins 43 times, one per 232.6 rounds, and 8 of those bonuses held a Hold and Win; their whole-round median was 67.80x, against 49.90x for the other 35. Started from the base game, Hold and Win came 52 times, 13 of them opening with seven coins, and round 4885 took the top one to 78.8x with a Collect coin among its coins.
Purchases returned 101.71% of what they cost, with a median ticket of FUN 73.15 and 33 of 50 below the FUN 100 price. Ticket 36 paid FUN 579.00, FUN 517.50 of it on the second spin, and ticket 41 followed at FUN 284.80.
