Across the whole run the 32 natural bonuses split into 16 under 20x, 7 between 20x and 50x, 1 between 50x and 100x and 8 at 100x or more, and together they made up 20% of everything the game returned. The wait between two triggers ran from 5 to 1,458 spins. Payout figures here are FS-only, in ordinary stakes; the trigger payout is excluded.
Countdown extensions come from clearing its points counter: the first clearance awards four spins and the second two. Nine of the 32 natural bonuses cleared it once, adding 36 spins; none earned the second extension.

How it plays
18 rules screens from the gameA purple gem needs only two consecutive reels from the left to pay, while the other ordinary symbols need at least three. Six purple gems on one winning way pay 25 times the stake; their two-reel award is 0.5 times. The field has six columns of four positions, giving 4,096 ways, and Wilds can replace ordinary symbols on reels two through five.
Reel Clone copies a central reel across a group of two, three or four adjacent reels. That can duplicate a Scatter as well as a paying symbol. A Wild caught by the feature expands into a square block, displaying x4 for two reels, x27 for three or x256 for four; those values count the paths through the square on winning combinations that use all of its reels.
Three Scatter coins pay six stakes and open the feature selection. Four, five or six coins instead pay 20, 50 or 100 stakes before the chosen free spins play out. The Countdown and Heading for Venus are separate choices, and the stake remains the one used for the triggering spin.
The Countdown begins with eight spins, an x4 Roaming Wild and a counter set to ten. Its numbered Countdown Scatters reduce that counter by up to three each and retain the ordinary Scatter payouts. Reaching zero adds four spins the first time and two the second, with the Wild growing on the next spin to x27 and then x256; the limit is fourteen spins. After the second extension, the counter and its special Scatters disappear.
Heading for Venus starts with fifteen spins and supplies a Reel Clone on every spin, with Velocity Wild values from x4 to x888. Three Scatters add another fifteen spins in that mode. Version 3.32.0-Relax assigns 96.65% RTP to The Countdown and 96.56% to Heading for Venus, which was outside the statistical sample. This FUN demo accepts stakes from 0.20 to 20 and offers no feature purchase.

Verdict
Copies that opened the countdownA single Scatter became three when Reel Clone copied the third reel across reels four and five in round 1750. The feature began with eight spins and earned an extension of four, paying FUN 232.05 alongside the FUN 6 entry payment. Across the complete sample, cloning raised the Scatter count from below three to a qualifying total on 25 of the 32 natural entries.
The two largest payouts came outside free spins: FUN 1,126.40 in round 3644 and FUN 550.40 in round 3712. Both filled the four middle reels with a 4x4 Wild block, leaving the outside symbols to determine the winning combinations. The six-reel red gems alone supplied FUN 640 of the larger award through 256 ways at FUN 2.50 each.
At FUN 1 per ordinary round, the 10,000-round test returned FUN 10,856.05, measuring 108.56% RTP against the selected 96.65% setting. Its approximate 95% confidence interval was 79.87% to 137.25%, expressing uncertainty in this sample mean rather than a predicted range for another session. Free spins contributed FUN 2,175.25 of the return; the initial screens supplied FUN 8,680.80.
Nine bonuses cleared the first countdown and gained four spins, while the other 23 stopped at their original eight. The resulting 47 spins with the upgraded 3x3 Wild paid FUN 1,609.65, compared with FUN 565.60 from 245 spins at the initial 2x2 size. No feature completed the second countdown, so the largest Roaming Wild never appeared in the statistical bonuses.
- Cloning Scatters supplied qualifying entries for 25 natural features, whose free spins returned FUN 1,875 in total.
- Expanded Wild blocks appeared on 618 opening screens; 490 of those screens paid something.
- Nine Countdown extensions added 36 free spins across the sample.
- Only two of the six four-reel Clone groups paid; copying four reels alone did not ensure a winning combination.
- At the initial 2x2 Wild size, 120 of 245 free spins paid nothing.
- The longest gap between natural entries contained 1,457 ordinary rounds without a trigger.

10,000 ordinary rounds, including naturally triggered features, at a fixed FUN 1 bet; mode: The Countdown free spins (roamingWild), selected at every natural trigger; recorded on the Big Time Gaming demo served by the Relax Gaming platform (jurisdiction MT, RTP profile 96.65%); every request and response logged; test run 2026-10-08. Heading for Venus was not sampled. The recorded bonus and screenshots come from a separate browser session and are excluded from the statistical sample. For this game, the shared CSV column cascade_steps counts one opening spin plus its free spins, not cascades.
The test rig plays the official demo build over the network and records every server round: bet, win, cascade steps, free spins, collect. Screenshots and video were captured in a separate browser session and are not part of the statistical samples. The text was read against the log by an editor before publication. How we test →
FAQ
5 questions · answered from the logWhy can Countdown finish with points still on the counter?
The spin allowance and Countdown points are separate counters: points must reach zero before the available spins run out to grant an extension. All 32 statistical features ended with points remaining, including the nine that had already reset the counter once. The separate bonus video shows eight spins ending with two points left.
Is the displayed x256 applied again after counting winning ways?
No. Counting the 4x4 block already gives 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 paths through its four reels, so the 256 factor is already present when those winning ways are counted. In round 3644, 256 six-reel red-gem ways at 2.5 stakes each paid 640 stakes; applying x256 again would count the same Wild paths twice.
Will numbered Scatters reduce Countdown points and also pay?
Yes. Numbered Countdown Scatters retain the ordinary Scatter awards while reducing the counter by one, two or three points each. Three Scatters pay 6 stakes, four pay 20, five pay 50 and six pay 100; fewer than three can still reduce points without earning a Scatter payout.
What changes after the first Countdown upgrade?
Four spins are added, the points counter resets to ten and the next spin uses a 3x3 Roaming Wild instead of the starting 2x2 block. A second clearance would add two spins and enlarge it to 4x4. The test recorded nine first upgrades and no second upgrades, so its longest features lasted twelve spins.
Which feature options does this demo actually offer?
The tested 3.32.0-Relax client offers no feature purchase, but a natural trigger presents two choices: eight Countdown spins or fifteen Heading for Venus spins. The statistical sample always selected Countdown, whose setting is 96.65%; Heading for Venus uses 96.56% and was not included in the measurements.
