Lucky Wagon Spins have no retrigger: the counter starts at 3 and goes back to 3 every time a coin lands in the wagon, so a round lasts as long as coins keep arriving. Forty-four of the fifty bought rounds ran past eight spins, the shortest length seen, which is where the 88% figure comes from; natural rounds did the same in 44 of 47.

How it plays
22 rules screens from the gameSix reels form the mine of Fire in the Hole 2, but only three rows are live when a spin begins; each collapse brings one more row into play until all six are open, which takes the count of ways from 64 up to 46,656 before any xSplit adds more. Symbols pay from the leftmost reel over adjacent reels, with only the best win per way counted, and for a EUR 1 stake six lanterns pay 7.50 per way while six nines pay 1.00.
Wins, xBomb Wild explosions and Wild Mining all set off a collapse: paid symbols disappear, the rest drop and new ones fall in. The xBomb Wild replaces everything except Bonus symbols, and when it blows up it clears the positions around it and adds its own value to the win multiplier of the next collapse. Wild Mining needs three to six matching symbols in a straight line, across or down, on a spin that paid nothing; the line turns into one to four Wilds and the rest of the live area is blasted away. Dirt blocks can hide a Wild, an xSplit or a Bonus symbol, and an xSplit doubles every symbol on its row before it changes into a regular symbol itself.
With three Bonus symbols Lucky Wagon Spins open two rows of the wagon, with four they open three and with five all four. The counter starts at three spins and is topped back up to three each time a coin drops into the wagon, and on every spin a row of carts above the wagon shows a coin value from 1x to 100x, a multiplier, dynamite, beer or the Dwarf, acting on any coin that lands in its column. Dynamite adds its count to its own coin and throws as many sticks, which clear dirt, double coins and crack the Collect Chests along the bottom, and an open chest pays its column every spin; beer wakes up to five old coins so they pick up their carts again, and the Dwarf collects the whole wagon into one coin.
The seventh reel is where the round can change: it sometimes shows an Upgrade crystal on one of the wagon rows. A coin that lands on that row with a coin value or multiplier above it stays active for the next spin, and one that lands under dynamite, beer or the Dwarf makes that feature permanent, repeating every spin until the wagon closes.
Buying the wagon costs 70x the bet for three Bonus symbols, 200x for four and 600x for five; a Lucky Draw between those three (50, 40 and 10%) costs 175x, and 3,600x buys five Bonus symbols with a permanent Dwarf. xBet raises the stake to 2.5x the bet, guarantees a Bonus symbol on the last closed row and clears the dirt. Return to player is 96.07% for ordinary spins, 96.09% with xBet and between 96.10% and 96.42% for the buys. Any stake between EUR 0.20 and EUR 100 is accepted, the studio puts volatility at 10.0 (Extreme), and the 65,000x Elbeerado cap is simulated once in 17,000,000 rounds.

Verdict
Crystals kept the wagon workingSeven of the 47 natural Lucky Wagon rounds had a crystal turn beer, dynamite or the Dwarf into a permanent feature, and those seven averaged 118.26x the stake against 50.11x for the other 40. Round 2371, which paid 327.95x and topped the series, shows how: a permanent beer kept waking coins that were already in the wagon, one of them picked up a 50x cart and another the Dwarf, which gathered 136 EUR from the board.
Buying fifty tickets at 70x cost 3,500 EUR and brought back 3,198 EUR, or 0.9137x the price. Ten of them got a permanent feature, eight times dynamite and twice the Dwarf, and averaged 1.43x their price, while the remaining 40 averaged 0.7846x. Ticket 16 paid the most, 211 EUR, and 190 EUR of it came from a Dwarf that a crystal left collecting every spin.
Every paying base spin also collapses the mine, so the 64.36% of the 10,000 spins that never got past the three starting rows returned nothing. The 535 spins that opened all six rows averaged 5.586x the bet, and round 9305 went furthest of all: six rows, the multiplier at x5 or higher, xSplit and Wild Mining together made 251.95 EUR in the base cascade before the round's own wagon added 57 EUR.
- The smallest natural Lucky Wagon round still paid 20x the stake from its free spins
- Every wagon ran at least 8 spins, since each landing coin put the counter back to 3
- Spins with Wild Mining averaged 3.246x the bet, against 0.261x for the rest
- Tickets 7 and 16 each returned more than twice their price on the back of a permanent Dwarf
- The four- and five-Bonus starts, which open more of the wagon, never came up in 10,000 spins
- Collect Chests opened in only 7 of the 97 Lucky Wagon rounds, natural and bought
- One wait between natural wagons lasted 1,094 spins, from round 2603 to round 3698
- Eleven dry runs in the base game reached 20 spins, the longest 30

FAQ
5 questions · answered from the logWhy did Fire in the Hole 2 return 74.79% when the game says 96.07%?
The declared 96.07% sits above the whole approximate 95% band of this series, which runs from 61.33% to 88.24%. One series of this length can still end there by chance, and it says nothing about what the next session returns; this one finished 2,521 bets below its starting balance.
Do Lucky Wagon Spins ever start with more than two rows?
All 47 natural triggers in this series came from three Bonus symbols, the minimum, which opens two rows of the wagon. They arrived at 4.7 bHz, 4.7 wagons per 1,000 spins, and the fifty bought rounds used the same two-row start because the 70x ticket buys three Bonus symbols.
Can a 70x Lucky Wagon ticket beat its own price?
Over fifty tries it lost money more often than not: 35 tickets returned less than 70 EUR, the median ticket paid 45.00 EUR, and only 6 reached twice the price, the best at 3.0143x. Without that ticket the remaining 49 came to 0.8708x of their price, while the studio sets 96.10% for this buy.
Does the seventh-reel crystal make a difference?
The crystal is the Upgrade symbol. A coin landing on a crystal's row keeps a coin value or multiplier active for another spin, and turns dynamite, beer or the Dwarf into a feature that repeats every spin until the wagon closes. Rounds with such a permanent feature paid 32.8% of the natural wagon money and 31.3% of the bought.
Where does the Lucky Wagon money actually come from?
The Dwarf collected 389 EUR in 9 of the 47 natural rounds, 15.8% of their money, and 597 EUR in 14 of the 50 bought ones, 18.7%. Plain coin values were the largest source, 65.5% of the natural total, ahead of dynamite at 7.0%, the Collect Chests at 6.4% and the multipliers at 5.0%.
