natural trigger · 36 in 10,000 spins
Empire Free Spins from a natural bonus trigger, the ladder pick, Roaming Wilds and the USD 2.70 total. Recorded in a separate browser session, outside the statistical samples.
Across the whole run the 36 natural bonuses split into 13 under 20x, 10 between 20x and 50x, 4 between 50x and 100x and 9 at 100x or more, and together they made up 25% of everything the game returned. The wait between two triggers ran from 2 to 1,253 spins. Payout figures here cover the whole bonus round in ordinary stakes, the trigger spin included: its scatter pays and line wins count towards the bonus.
Extensions come from two different mechanisms. An Empire Free Spins round gains five spins each time its counter reaches three, which happened in 9 of 32 rounds, while Golden Kong rounds 7266 and 9008 added respins on their final spin, three and one. Barrel Blast and King Kong Trail, 36 of the 72 King Kong Bonus triggers, pay cash without spins and are not counted here.

How it plays
5 rules screens from the game
King Kong Cash has three rows on five reels and 20 win lines. Pays are quoted in line bets, and at the USD 1.00 stake of the series one line bet is 0.05, so a 300 is USD 15.00: rhino and tiger give 300 for five, 80 for four and 20 for three, parrot and crocodile 200, 60 and 10, A and K 100, 40 and 8, Q and J 50, 10 and 4. The crowned King Kong Cash logo and the Wild barrel pay 500, 100 and 40 and already 2 for a pair, and the Wild replaces every symbol except the Bonus scatter. Version 1.6.1.14 shows RTP=95.79% and caps one game at x50,000 the total bet, while the demo takes a total bet as low as USD 0.20 or as high as USD 200 and offers no feature purchase.
Bonus symbols, a crowned King Kong above the word BONUS, start the King Kong Bonus when three or more land, and it is a ladder of five prizes. From the bottom rung up they are Barrel Blast, King Kong Trail, Empire Free Spins, Golden Kong Free Spins and the Big Money Bonus, whose logo crosses the K out of Big Monkey and which the base screen advertises as worth up to x1000 total bet. A spin of the bonus reel picks the starting rung, after which a CONGRATULATIONS card offers COLLECT, or GAMBLE to try for the next rung up. Barrel Blast and King Kong Trail pay cash, and only the two Free Spins rungs play spins.
Sleepy Kong may wake up during any spin to activate one of five Monkey modifiers, named as Banana Cannon Wilds, Golden Barrel Super Spin, Bonus Boost, Kong Respin and King Kong Streak; the help pages give names and pictures only. In the server's records Empire Free Spins began with 10 spins and Golden Kong Free Spins with 11. An Empire counter that reached three raised the level by one and added five spins, then started again from zero.

Verdict
Golden Kong and the Empire counter
Empire Free Spins was where the ladder stopped most often, 32 times out of 72 King Kong Bonus triggers, and its counter moved in every one of those rounds. Only nine filled it to three for a level-up, and those nine paid USD 1,232.90, a 136.99x mean. The other 23 played their ten spins with the counter stuck on one or two and averaged 20.84x, never above 65.4x. A level-up alone guaranteed little: round 2044 got to 15 spins and paid 7.2x.
Barrel Blast and King Kong Trail, the two lowest rungs, took 36 of the triggers and paid cash at an 18.50x median, the Barrel Blast board ending on exactly 10.0x in seven of its 15 rounds. The largest cash prize came in round 4636, which began as King Kong Trail, reached the Big Money Bonus inside the trail and finished at 100.0x, the only Big Money appearance of the series. The test took COLLECT at all 72 offers, so none of these figures includes a gamble.
Golden Kong Free Spins came up 4 times and returned USD 762.40, 7.80% of all payouts in the series and more than the USD 723.70 from all 36 cash prizes. Three of its four rounds and six levelled-up Empire rounds make up the nine largest rounds of the 10,000.
- Golden Kong Free Spins paid 222.55x the stake at the median over four rounds
- Empire rounds that filled the counter had a 158.60x median
- Rounds 4769 and 5904 levelled up twice, ran 20 spins and paid 170.9x and 158.6x
- The Big Money Bonus was never the starting rung in 72 King Kong Bonus triggers
- Twenty-three Empire rounds kept the counter below three and averaged 20.84x
- After round 6093 the King Kong Bonus did not return until round 6650, 557 rounds later

FAQ
8 questions · answered from the log
How many King Kong Bonus triggers came in 10,000 rounds of King Kong Cash?
The ladder opened 72 times, about once every 138.89 spins at a USD 1.00 stake, and the longest wait ran 557 rounds, from round 6093 to round 6650. Only half of those triggers led to free spins, so the bonus statistics on this page, which count free spins rounds only, show one per 277.78 rounds.
Does the number of Bonus symbols set the starting rung?
No. Three Bonus symbols opened 69 of the 72 climbs and still reached every rung below the Big Money Bonus: Barrel Blast 15 times, King Kong Trail 21, Empire Free Spins 30 and Golden Kong Free Spins 3. Four symbols came only three times, giving Empire twice and Golden Kong once, too few to show a pattern.
How do Empire Free Spins get past ten spins?
Through a counter the server raises during the feature: when it reaches three, the level goes up, five spins are added and the count restarts. Nine of the 32 Empire rounds got there, seven once for 15 spins and two twice for 20, and together they paid USD 1,232.90, 12.62% of all payouts in the series.
What did Golden Kong Free Spins pay in the King Kong Cash test?
Four rounds, each awarded 11 spins, paid 266.6x, 247.8x, 197.3x and 50.7x the USD 1.00 stake, counted from the trigger spin on. Rounds 7266 and 9008 added respins on their final spin, three and one, which is why they ran 14 and 12 spins. The four together returned 7.80% of everything the series paid.
Barrel Blast or King Kong Trail: which cash prize pays more?
Barrel Blast paid a 10.00x median over 15 rounds with 25.7x as its best, and King Kong Trail a 19.00x median over 21 rounds, five of which ended on exactly 19.0x. Between them they produced 7.41% of all payouts.
What can the Big Money Bonus pay in King Kong Cash?
A banner over the base reels promises up to x1000 total bet in it. Across 72 King Kong Bonus triggers it was never the rung the ladder stopped on; round 4636 reached it from inside King Kong Trail, and that round paid USD 100.00 on a USD 1.00 stake in all.
Does 97.7% in the King Kong Cash demo mean the slot pays more than 95.79%?
No. Round 7266, Golden Kong Free Spins worth 266.6x, was the largest single result, and without round 7266 the other 9,999 rounds returned 95.04%, a little below 95.79%. Around 97.7% an approximate 95% CI stretches from 83.48% to 111.91%, which takes in the listed rate.
Which spin without the King Kong Bonus paid the most?
Round 4972 paid 100.1x on an ordinary USD 1.00 spin with no Monkey modifier on it, the tenth largest round of the series. Spins that did not trigger the King Kong Bonus, 9,928 of them, returned 66.19% of their stake.
