How it plays
7 rules screens from the game
Three reels of three symbols pay on 27 ways, left to right from reel 1, and every combination needs all three reels except the Crown, which also pays 1x the bet for two. A full way of Crowns returns 5x, Sevens 2.5x, BARs 2x, Bells 1.5x and Horseshoes 1x, and the Diamond Wild stands in for every symbol. Winning symbols leave the reels in an avalanche and new ones take their places, so one spin can pay more than once.
The letters B, O, N, U and S also land on the reels as bonus tokens. When the same letter lines up across all three reels, it lights in the meter under the reels and is cleared away like a winning symbol, even though it pays nothing. The meter empties at the end of each round, and lighting all five letters within one spin and its avalanches starts eight free spins.
During free spins the meter switches to the five paying symbols, each one lighting up once it has been part of a win. With Horseshoe, Bell, BAR, Seven and Crown all lit, the bet multiplier moves up a step, x1 to x3, x9 and finally x27, two free spins are added and the meter starts over. Every win is paid with the current multiplier already applied.
BUY FEATURE sells the Bonus Game for 120x the bet, EUR 120.00 at the EUR 1.00 stake used for this test, and that route is listed at 96.42% RTP against 96.12% for normal play. The bet selector runs EUR 0.10 to EUR 100 per spin, and a single round is capped at 5,000x the bet.

Verdict
Every x9 ticket beat its price
Twelve of the 50 purchases completed the symbol meter twice and climbed to x9, and all twelve came back above the EUR 120 price, EUR 2,982.50 together, 56.1% of everything the tickets returned. The 18 tickets that never completed a set stayed on x1 for their eight spins, and the best of them returned EUR 78.50. Ticket 43, the top one at EUR 342.00, was paid EUR 238.50 of that total at x9.
On the natural side, x9 was reached by 13 bonuses, and they paid 61.0% of natural bonus income, trigger spins included, with a 207.50x median, while the 22 that stopped at x3 had a median of 81.75x. Round 4910, which paid 575x and topped the series, reached x9 in the middle of its sixth free spin, and a later screen of the same avalanche paid EUR 243.00 for 18 Bell ways.
No bonus, bought or natural, got the meter round a third time, so the x27 step stayed unlit for the whole test. Thirteen natural and 17 bought bonuses ran out of spins with four of the five symbols already lit.
- Once a natural bonus moved past x1, its whole round paid at least 35x the stake
- Seven tickets out of 50 returned double the EUR 120 price or more
- 35 of 43 natural bonuses completed at least one symbol set and earned two extra spins
- Base spins without free spins went as high as 46.5x, on round 2369
- EUR 138.00 was all that the eight natural bonuses stuck on x1 brought in
- 83 base rounds lit four BONUS letters and ended without free spins
- The x27 step never lit in any natural or bought bonus of the test
- 9,305 of the 10,000 ordinary rounds paid nothing at all

FAQ
6 questions · answered from the log
What moves the Triple Royal Gold multiplier from x1 up to x27?
Five different symbols have to take part in wins during free spins: Horseshoe, Bell, BAR, Seven and Crown. Each completed set moves the multiplier one step, x1 to x3 to x9 to x27, and adds two spins to the opening eight. In the test the meter was completed twice at most, so x9 with 12 spins in all was as far as it went, for 13 of 43 natural and 12 of 50 bought bonuses.
If I pay 120x for the Triple Royal Gold Bonus Game, how much do I usually get back?
A EUR 120 ticket came back with a EUR 67.75 median, 0.565x of its price, and 33 of the 50 ended below it. Together the EUR 6,000 of tickets brought back EUR 5,314.50, with the best single return at 2.85x on ticket 43.
Triple Royal Gold came back at 89.22% against 96.12%. What explains the gap?
Natural bonuses paid 59.63% of the ordinary series' money, trigger spins included, from only 43 rounds, so a handful of results shift the total sharply. Read as an approximate 95% CI around the mean, the series spans 66.65% to 111.78%, a range that holds 96.12%, and without round 4910, which paid 575x, the other 9,999 rounds returned 83.47%.
How many base spins does it take to spell BONUS in Triple Royal Gold?
The five letters came together 43 times in the 10,000-round series, about once per 233 rounds on average. The longest wait inside one test lane was 1,331 rounds, from the bonus on round 5549 to the next one on round 6881.
Once a BONUS letter lights in Triple Royal Gold, does it stay lit for later spins?
No. Lit letters are cleared when the round ends, so all five must come within a single spin and its avalanches; 83 rounds of the series lit four and then stopped, 32 of them missing only the B.
Could a single Triple Royal Gold free spin pay hundreds of times the bet?
Yes. Free spin 6 of round 4910 paid EUR 472.50 on a EUR 1.00 bet, EUR 454.50 of it after the multiplier rose to x9 partway through its avalanche, and the whole bonus closed at 575x, the best round of the 10,000. The rules cap any round at 5,000x the bet.
