How it plays
7 rules screens from the game
Killer Night has a 5x5 grid and 15 fixed paylines; matching symbols must run left to right across neighbouring reels from reel 1 to pay. The ordinary stake is 20 coins, so the USD 2.00 bet of this test used a 0.10 coin; five Wilds pay 30x that stake, five Prom Queens 15x and five pom-poms, cassette players or sunglasses 1.25x. Scatter and SUPER SCATTER disco balls appear on every reel, though the screen never shows more than one SUPER SCATTER.
The Wild, a masked killer, replaces any symbol apart from the two Scatters and can stretch up or down over a random number of cells. It may also carry 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x for each line through it, and when a line crosses more than one multiplier the values are multiplied together.
A trigger of three Scatters starts 10 free spins, four bring 15 and five 20, and a SUPER SCATTER among them makes the round Super Free Spins, with at least three Wilds guaranteed on the first spin. Inside the bonus every Wild that lands stays until the end; a new Wild next to a sticky one on the same reel joins it and adds its own multiplier to the sticky value. The feature cannot be retriggered, and once a round's total hits 10,000x the bet it ends immediately with the capped amount.
Three special bets alter the stake multiplier: Ante costs 60 coins instead of 20 for a fivefold chance of natural free spins, while SUPER SPIN 1 at 200 and SUPER SPIN 2 at 4,000 guarantee Wilds on every spin and switch natural free spins off. The buy menu offers free spins at 100x, which may turn into Super Free Spins at random, or Super Free Spins outright at 500x; this test bought only the 100x option. Ordinary play is rated at 96.52% RTP, Ante and SUPER SPIN 1 at 96.44%, SUPER SPIN 2 at 96.52%, and the two buys at 96.45% and 96.44%; the game is marked high volatility, and the rules put the minimum bet at USD 0.20 and the maximum at USD 48,000.

Verdict
Wilds rarely passed three reels
In all 46 natural and 50 bought free spins rounds, sticky Wilds never covered all five reels, and only two bought bonuses got them onto a fourth. Thirty-five natural bonuses finished with Wilds on three reels and averaged 114x the stake, 83.98% of natural bonus money; the nine with two Wild reels averaged 83.95x and the two with a single one 2.6x. The number of Wild cells alone did not secure a payout: round 6473 kept 12 of them on reels 1, 4 and 5, left reels 2 and 3 to ordinary symbols and paid USD 0.50, all of it from the triggering spin.
Tickets 3 and 49 were the two four-reel purchases, and together they returned 47.16% of the USD 16,728 that the 50 buys paid. Ticket 49 was also the only purchase to open with four Scatters and 15 free spins; it ended with 15 sticky cells and paid USD 7,516.50, 37.58x its price. Without it the other 49 tickets averaged 0.9399x, so the 167.28% buy return stands on one ticket.
Forty-six natural triggers in 10,000 rounds produced whole rounds worth USD 9,499.40, 51.0% of all ordinary-series payouts. One of them was a Super Free Spins round: a SUPER SCATTER joined two Scatters in round 3268, eight Wild cells stood on the first free spin and the round paid 132.35x. None of the 50 purchases of the 100x option became Super Free Spins, although the rules let that happen at random.

- Round 9339 turned 10 free spins into 796.75x the stake
- The 50 buys paid back 167.28% of their USD 10,000 cost
- Paying rounds came every 4.59 spins, a 21.77% hit rate
- Ticket payouts fell short of USD 200 on 35 of 50 purchases
- Round 7824 played 10 natural free spins and paid nothing
- Super Free Spins never came from the 100x buy in 50 tries
- Eight natural bonuses ending with seven Wild cells or fewer averaged 20.8x

FAQ
7 questions · answered from the log
Why did a Killer Night bonus full of sticky Wilds pay almost nothing?
A Killer Night line pays only when it matches from reel 1 across adjacent reels, so Wilds on reels 1, 4 and 5 still need matching symbols on reels 2 and 3 of the same line. Round 6473 ended with 12 sticky Wild cells on reels 1, 4 and 5 and none on reels 2 and 3, and the whole round paid USD 0.50, 0.25x the USD 2.00 stake.
Across 50 purchases at USD 200, what did the Killer Night free spins buy return?
The 50 tickets paid USD 16,728 against USD 10,000 spent, 167.28%, while the typical ticket lost money: the median paid USD 119.50 and 35 of the 50 came back under the price. Fifteen tickets paid back at least their USD 200, and six returned 2x or more.
Killer Night free spins: what was the average gap between triggers?
About 217 spins, with 46 natural triggers over 10,000 ordinary rounds at USD 2.00. Forty-two of them started with 10 free spins from three scatter symbols, one of them a SUPER SCATTER, four with 15 from four Scatters, and no trigger had five.
With a 96.52% rating, why did the Killer Night test end at 93.14%?
A sample of 10,000 rounds is short for a game capped at 10,000x: the approximate 95% CI of the measured mean ran from 68.80% to 117.47%, wide enough to include 96.52%. Natural bonuses alone supplied 51.0% of what the series paid, and their whole rounds ranged from 0x to 796.75x the stake.
Did the test ever land Super Free Spins in Killer Night?
Yes. A SUPER SCATTER landed beside two Scatters in round 3268 of the ordinary series; eight Wild cells stood on the first free spin and the round paid 132.35x the stake. That was 1 of 46 natural bonuses, and none of the 50 purchases of the 100x option became Super Free Spins.
Which Killer Night round paid the most during the test?
Ticket 49 of the bonus buys paid USD 7,516.50, 37.58x its USD 200 price, after 15 free spins that left 15 sticky Wild cells. In ordinary play the top round was 9339, a natural bonus worth USD 1,593.50 or 796.75x the stake, and the best spin without free spins paid 159.35x in round 230.
How high can the Wild multipliers climb in Killer Night free spins?
The highest value on one sticky Wild cell at the end of a bonus was x10, seen once among the natural bonuses and once among the purchases. Because a new Wild beside a sticky one adds its multiplier, the top cell of 9 of 46 natural and 11 of 50 bought bonuses finished on x4, x6 or x7, values a fresh Wild never carries.
