Pirate Gold Deluxe plays five reels of four rows across 40 fixed lines, each line read from reel one towards reel five. At USD 2 the captain and the red-haired pirate each pay USD 25 for five of a kind and USD 0.20 for a pair, the parrot and the ship USD 15, the map and the telescope USD 10, while the hook, the octopus coin and the two skull coins pay USD 2 to USD 4 for five. The treasure chest is the Wild, absent from reel one, and it replaces any symbol other than a money bag. Symbols do not tumble: one spin is one payment.
A money bag may land on every reel with its value printed on it, or the Minor or Major jackpot, USD 100 or USD 400 at this stake. Eight or more bags on one spin open the Lucky Treasure Bag feature after the line wins are paid: the reels empty, the bags stay, and three respins begin, reset to three every time a new bag lands. Two collector bags exist only inside the feature, one worth the sum of the bags that opened the board and one worth every bag on the screen at the moment it lands, and a green multiplier bag adds 2x, 3x or 5x to the total multiplier of the round. A skull chest retriggers a fresh board with the same starting bags, and 20 filled cells also pay the Grand jackpot, USD 2,000.

Sixty-nine boards opened naturally, one per 145 spins or 6.9 bHz, and paid 43.2% of the total; without the best of them, round 6204 at 372 bets, the remaining 9,999 rounds hold 96.50%. Hit rate was 40.02%, yet only two ordinary rounds passed 100 bets, each a single spin stacked with pirates and Wilds.
Bought boards ended above price at 1.121x, and still 35 of the 50 tickets lost money, with the median ticket returning USD 144.90, 0.7245x. One purchase carried the sample: ticket 14 landed a skull chest, played a second board and finished at USD 2,335.80, 11.68x, leaving the other 49 at 0.9057x.
