One run, one bet size. A different session can bust earlier or never; treat this as a measured example, not a rule.
How it plays
7 rules screens from the gameSix Megaways reels deal two to seven symbols apiece, and a separate top row above reels 2 to 5 travels right to left on its own. Payouts form left to right along unbroken chains of one symbol beginning on the first reel, any symbol size, for as many as 117,649 ways. Thor himself is the only symbol that pays for two, 0.5x the bet, and tops out at 20x for six; the four warriors below him and the card ranks are cheap on their own, which is why single evaluations rarely matter here.
Every win tumbles: paid symbols vanish, what remains drops, and fresh symbols arrive from above until nothing new connects. The other thing the top row carries is the hammer, a symbol two positions wide that does not pay. When it lands fully visible above reels 2 to 5, or is pushed to a new spot by a tumble, every symbol on the reels underneath it turns wild. Ordinary wilds also live only on that top row.
Four scatters spelling THOR start the bonus with 10 free spins; five scatters give 14, six give 18, and so on to 30 for nine. Between 10 and 18 spins the game offers a wheel: each successful spin adds four more free spins, a miss forfeits the whole round, and the printed odds are 62.81%, 70.39% and 75.02% for the three steps. The lab never took the wheel: every triggered round was collected as dealt, so the 33 natural bonuses in this run were 28 rounds of 10 spins and 5 rounds of 14. Inside the feature a win multiplier starts at 1x and grows by one with every tumble, three more scatters add four spins, and the hammer keeps working.
The purchase option is priced at 100x and deals a random scatter count, so a bought round opens with anywhere from 10 to 22 spins; the rules screen quotes 96.97% for bought rounds against 96.55% for the base game. Wins are capped at 5,000x the bet; a free-spin round hitting the cap is closed immediately with the remaining spins forfeited. There is no ante bet option in this build.

Verdict
who it suits, who should skip itThe balance curve of this run has no second act. It touched its high of 168 bets up on spin 959, the round where a 14-spin bonus paid 123.2x, then slid for six thousand rounds to 1,015 bets under the starting line at spin 6977 and finished 819 bets down. The 378.1x round at spin 8200 pulled it back by about two hundred bets and that was the last large event.
What the numbers say about the design: without the feature the base game returned 72.99% of stake, and the free spins added another 20 points to reach 91.81%. Bonuses were worth 20% of everything paid out, so waiting for them is the game, and the wait ran from 11 spins to 1,347 spins between triggers. Nine of the 33 rounds paid under 10x, seven paid over 100x.
Three fixed stakes were tested against this curve: the 50-bet stake emptied on spin 218, the 100-bet stake on spin 2237, the 200-bet stake on spin 2484. The worst stretch was 1,183 bets from peak to trough. If you play Power of Thor Megaways for the bonus, that is the depth a base-game session can reach before it shows up.
The purchase is the more predictable route and still a losing one in this sample. Fifty rounds at 200.00 each returned 0.80x on average, a median of 0.37x, with seven rounds paying under a tenth of their price and eleven paying above it. The single 6.83x buy, number 27, returned more than the eight purchases that followed it put together. Bought rounds retriggered in 13 of 50 cases, which is the only way a 10-spin purchase becomes 14 or 18 spins without the wheel.
- One spin in 2.7 paid, and two of the three largest base rounds, 124.8x and 93.5x, needed only two and three tumbles.
- Bonuses can carry the run: seven of 33 natural rounds paid over 100x, and the 8200 round alone returned 756 in a 2.00 game.
- Purchases retriggered in 26% of cases, and no bought round came back at zero.
- 91.81% measured against 96.55% declared, with the base game alone at 72.99%.
- Nine of 33 natural bonuses paid under 10x, and the median bonus, 35.5x, does not cover a 300-spin wait at 1x per spin.
- Thirty-nine of fifty purchases lost money; the median one returned 0.37x of its 100x price.
- Every fixed bankroll tested, 50 to 200 bets, was gone before spin 2500.
- Free spins landed 33 times in 10,000 rounds, one trigger per 303 spins over the run, though single gaps ranged from 11 spins (rounds 693 to 704) to 1,347 spins (rounds 8462 to 9809).
- The biggest round, 378.1x on spin 8200, came from a 14-spin natural bonus that ran 29 tumble steps; the largest base-game evaluation was 125.2x on round 543 after four tumbles.
- 63.4% of spins paid nothing, the longest blank run was 16 rounds (5730 to 5745), and no drought reached 20.
- Wins of 10x or more showed up 134 times, about one in 75 spins; 23 of them cleared 50x and 9 cleared 100x.
- Fifty buys at 100x: 37 rounds stayed at 10 spins, 11 retriggered to 14, 2 reached 18, and the total returned was 39.9 buys' worth of stake, 79.7% of what was paid.
- Balance peaked 168 bets up on spin 959 and bottomed out 1,015 bets down on spin 6977; the run closed 819 bets below the start.

FAQ
9 questions · answered from the logDid the lab spin the gamble wheel for extra free spins?
No. Every triggered round, natural or bought, was collected as dealt. That keeps the results comparable with the base 10-spin award; the wheel's own odds are on the rules screen at 62.81%, 70.39% and 75.02% per step, with a miss costing the whole round.
Why 91.81% and not the 96.55% on the help screen?
Because the game moves in 100x steps, a 10,000-spin sample carries a 95% interval from 79.8% to 103.9%. The declared figure sits inside it. Another ten thousand spins could land above the line just as easily.
How much of the money came from free spins?
About a fifth. The base game returned 72.99% of stake on its own; the 33 bonus rounds added 20.1% of everything paid out and lifted the total to 91.81%.
Typical bonus: what does 10 free spins actually return?
Half of the natural rounds paid 35.5x or less, while the mean sat at 55.8x. The spread is wide: nine rounds paid under 10x, seven paid over 100x, and the top one, 378.1x on round 8200, was worth more than the bottom twenty together.
Is buying free spins for 100x a better deal than waiting?
Judging by fifty purchases, no. At 200.00 each they came back at 0.80x on average and 0.37x at the median; 39 of them lost money. Waiting cost roughly 303 spins per natural trigger, which is about 300x in stake for a bonus that paid a median 35.5x.
The hammer: does it matter in the base game?
Yes, when it lands fully. It is a two-wide symbol on the moving top row; when it sits fully above reels 2 to 5 it turns everything below it wild. Two of the three biggest base-game rounds, 124.8x on spin 9928 and 93.5x on spin 7530, finished in two and three tumbles, which points to reels turned wild rather than a long cascade; the log records the tumble count, not which symbol did it.
How long can it go without paying?
The longest blank stretch was 16 spins, rounds 5730 to 5745, and five stretches reached 15. Blank spins were 63.4% of the run. The longer risk is the wait for the feature: up to 1,347 spins between triggers here.
Did a small bankroll survive?
None of the three tested did. Fifty bets ran out on spin 218, one hundred on spin 2237, two hundred on spin 2484. The deepest fall from a peak was 1,183 bets.
How close did the run get to the 5,000x cap?
It never came into play. The run's best round was 378.1x against a ceiling of 5,000x, and a free-spin round that touches the ceiling is cut short at once; the rules also quote 96.97% for purchased rounds against 96.55% for base play.
