How it plays

Sugar Rush Xmas plays on the same seven-by-seven grid as the original, now under snow. A win is any group of five or more matching symbols joined side to side, and diagonal contact adds nothing. At USD 2 a group of five pays from USD 0.40 for the orange bear to USD 2.00 for the pink lollipop, while fifteen or more lollipops pay USD 300, 150 times the stake. Paid symbols burst, the columns above slide down to fill the space, and the round keeps tumbling until a refill lands nothing new.
The spots are the game. Every burst marks its cell; a cell gets its first multiplier, x2, when a second symbol bursts on it, and every later burst doubles the value up to x128. A group covering marked cells is multiplied by the sum of the spots under it, so five symbols on a x8 and a x4 pay twelve times the base amount. Outside the feature the marks vanish as soon as the tumbling ends, which is why the two largest single tumbles of this first run, USD 480 in round 652 and USD 960 in round 908, both arrived after several small bursts had primed the grid.
Landing three Scatters anywhere on the screen starts 10 free spins, and each extra Scatter up to seven lifts the award: 12, 15, 20 and finally 30. Inside the feature every marked cell keeps its multiplier from one spin to the next, and Scatters landing during the round add spins on the same scale. The purchase costs 100x, USD 200 when the stake is USD 2, and a bought round draws its Scatter count at random, so a ticket may open with anything between 10 and 30 spins.

The buys did worse than the base: fifty USD 200 tickets returned 0.860x their price, 36 of them below price, with a median of 0.3885x, USD 77.70. Spin count decided the ticket.
