A game that was 1,035 bets in the hole at spin 5058 and finished level: one seven-tumble base round of 742x and two twenty-spin bonuses did all the repair work. The 100x buys, taken fifty times, gave back three quarters of their price.

How it plays

7 rules screens from the game

Sugar Rush 1000 keeps the 7×7 candy grid of the original and the same win rule: five or more identical symbols connected along rows or columns count as one block, and corners touching do not. After a block pays, its symbols vanish, everything above slides down, the gaps refill, and the round only ends once a refill produces nothing new.

What separates the 1000 edition is the ceiling on the multiplier cells. A cell remembers each symbol that explodes on it; from the second explosion onward it carries a multiplier, x2 first, then x4, x8 and so on up to x1024, where the original stopped at x128. Multipliers under one winning block are summed and applied to that block. Between base-game rounds every mark is erased, which is why the 742x on round 5852 had to be built and collected inside a single seven-tumble sequence.

Free spins start with three to seven candy jars in view: 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 spins, and the same table applies to retriggers during the round. Inside the feature no mark is ever erased, so cells keep doubling from spin to spin. The log holds 37 natural rounds: 31 of ten spins, three of twelve (3391, 3747, 9022) and three of twenty (5223, 6277, 9527).

Two purchase buttons sit on the left panel. The plain BUY FREE SPINS costs 100x the bet and opens on a bare grid; BUY SUPER FREE SPINS costs 500x and seeds every one of the 49 cells with x2 before the first spin. Both can produce three to seven scatters on the triggering spin. All fifty of the lab's purchases were the 100x option; the super version has not been measured.

The cap is 25,000x the bet in both base game and free spins, and a bonus that reaches it ends on the spot with the remaining spins forfeited. The server reports 96.53% for regular play, 96.52% for the 100x buy and 96.44% for the super buy. The stake runs from 0.20 to 240; there is no ante bet.

Verdict

who it suits, who should skip it

For most of the run this was a losing session. The balance went under water on the first spins and stayed there: 417 bets down at spin 1,000, 797 at 3,000, and a low of 1,035 bets down at spin 5058. Then round 5852 tumbled seven times for 742.6x and pulled the account above its starting line for the first time, and round 6277, a twenty-spin bonus worth 491.6x, pushed it to a peak of 448 bets up. The last 3,700 spins gave that back slowly; the run ended 5 bets ahead at 100,009.60. None of the fixed bankrolls saw any of the recovery: 50 bets lasted 114 spins, 100 bets lasted 184 and 200 bets lasted 442.

Natural free spins were the steadier engine, worth 31% of everything the game returned. Thirty-seven triggers averaged 83x with a median of 35x; ten cleared 100x, fourteen finished under 20x; the smallest was 6.2x on round 9829, the largest 546.6x on round 5223, a twenty-spin round. Their spacing was anything but regular: rounds 3391 and 3397 triggered six spins apart (278x and 13x), five triggers landed between rounds 8010 and 8434, and the longest wait ran 747 spins, from round 5530 to 6277.

Fifty purchases at 200 each cost 10,000 and returned 7,487. Thirty-nine of the fifty purchases came back below their price, 32 of them below half of it, and 14 below a tenth. Eleven paid at least 1x; four passed 2x, and only buy 36 went big, 9.455x over 22 spins after a retrigger. Take that one round away and the other 49 average 0.571x. Retriggers came in 7 of the 50 rounds, so a bought round lasted 11 spins on average and 22 at most.

Come for the base game if you can sit through the long stretches: a 65% blank rate and no dead run longer than 17 spins, with 140 rounds above 10x and 13 above 100x in the log. Skip the 100x buy unless you are chasing one round in fifty; the median purchase returned a quarter of its price.

Measured upsides
  • Logged return of 100.05% over the full run, above the declared 96.53%
  • Ten of 37 natural bonuses paid over 100x, two of them above 490x
  • Dead runs stayed short: the longest was 17 spins, none reached 20
Measured downsides
  • A 1,035-bet drawdown before the first big round; every tested bankroll busted by spin 442
  • Fifty 100x buys returned 0.749x, 39 of them below cost and 14 below a tenth of it
  • Fourteen natural bonuses finished under 20x, the smallest at 6.2x
  • The super buy at 500x was not tested, so its x2 head start is not measured here
What the AI noticed during the run
  • Round 5852 alone moved the balance from 576 bets down to 166 bets up: seven tumbles, 742.6x, no scatters involved.
  • Two bonuses six spins apart on rounds 3391 and 3397 paid 278.1x and 13x; the multipliers that carried the first one were gone by the second.
  • Five natural triggers inside 424 spins, rounds 8010 to 8434, against a 747-spin wait between rounds 5530 and 6277 earlier in the run.
  • Buy 33 returned 0.0215x of its price and buy 36, three purchases later, returned 9.455x; between them sat 2.177x and 0.177x.

FAQ

6 questions · answered from the log
What changed from the first Sugar Rush?
Lab answer

The multiplier ceiling on a cell went from x128 to x1024, the win cap from 5,000x to 25,000x, and a second buy option appeared: 500x for a round that starts with x2 on every cell. The grid, the cluster rule and the 10 to 30 free spins are the same. In our run the highest single round was 742.6x, well under either cap.

Did the x1024 spots ever show up in the base game?
Lab answer

Not at that size. The base game clears its marks after each spin, so a cell needs repeated explosions inside one tumbling sequence to grow. The largest scatter-free rounds were 742.6x on round 5852 in seven tumbles, 156.95x on round 6838 in five and 125.7x on round 2367 in four; the log records the payout, not which cells reached what.

Is 100% RTP a sign the demo is looser than real money?
Lab answer

No, it is a sign that ten thousand rounds are too few to pin this game down. The 95% interval around 100.05% runs from 76.6% to 123.5%, and the declared 96.53% sits inside it. Two rounds, 742.6x and 546.6x, account for almost thirteen points of the figure; without them the run would read under 88%.

How long between free spins?
Lab answer

One trigger per 270 spins on average across 37 of them, but the gaps ran from 6 spins (rounds 3391 to 3397) to 747 spins (round 5530 to 6277). The first one arrived on spin 29.

Is buying at 100x better than waiting?
Lab answer

Waiting came out cheaper here. The 37 natural rounds averaged 83x for free; the 50 bought rounds averaged 74.9x for a 100x price, a median of 25x, and 39 losing purchases. One purchase, number 36, paid 945x on its 200 stake and was the only reason the average is not near 0.57x.

Why did a twenty-spin bonus pay only 14x?
Lab answer

Round 9527 retriggered once, ran twenty spins and finished at 14.4x because the clusters kept landing on unmarked cells; the multipliers never stacked where the wins were. The other two twenty-spin rounds, 5223 and 6277, paid 546.6x and 491.6x. Spin count sets the opportunity, not the result.
