How it plays
7 rules screens from the gameSix reels, five rows, no paylines: eight or more of one symbol anywhere on the screen is a win, with the pay stepping up at 10 and again at 12 symbols. The sun medallion is the top pay and the yellow gem the bottom. A win removes its symbols, the rest drop, new ones fall in, and the sequence repeats until a drop produces no eight-of-a-kind. There is no limit on tumbles.
The winged hearts and the blue star badge are the multiplier symbols. Each one that lands takes a value between 2x and 1000x from a fixed list (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 or 1000); the original Starlight Princess stopped at 500x. Once the tumbling ends, the values of every multiplier symbol left on screen are summed, and that one figure multiplies the whole sequence. That arithmetic is what produced round 5881: four small tumbles worth 10.10 in total, then a final multiplication to 5,050, or 2,525x the bet.
A round of 15 free spins begins when four scatters or more land. Inside the feature, each multiplier that lands on a winning spin joins a running total displayed on the left panel, and from then on every winning spin is multiplied by that total. Three scatters during the round add five more spins. The 23 natural rounds in the log accumulated totals from 14x (round 706) to 115x (round 691); three of them, on rounds 611, 1817 and 2948, retriggered once for 20 spins.
The purchase costs 100x the bet and guarantees exactly four scatters on the triggering spin. The ante bet adds 25% to the price of a spin and changes the reel strips so that scatters appear twice as often; while it is on, the purchase button is greyed out, so the two cannot be combined. The maximum win is 15,000x the bet, three times the cap of the original. Declared figures: 96.5% in regular and ante mode, 96.49% when buying; the lab measured the regular mode and the purchase.

who it suits, who should skip itBefore round 5881 this was an ordinary losing session with one good hour at the start. The balance was 302 bets up at spin 1,000 and 266 up at 2,000, then slid for three thousand spins to a low of 903 bets down at spin 5177. Round 5178, two tumbles worth 234x, and round 5881, five tumbles worth 2,525x, turned that into a 1,690-bet profit within seven hundred spins, and the peak of 2,344 bets up came at spin 7042. From there the last three thousand spins bled about 1,200 bets; the close was 1,133 bets ahead at 102,266.20.
The bankrolls that matter to a player did not see the recovery. Fifty bets ran out at spin 2663, one hundred at 2724, two hundred at 2901, all during the slide, and the run's longest blank stretch, 27 spins from round 6156 to 6182, came after the big round. Three dead runs reached 20 spins and 72% of spins paid nothing at all.
Free spins were worth 17.5% of the total return, less than the one base round. Twenty-three natural triggers averaged 79.7x with a median of 33.5x: five cleared 100x, led by 472.1x on round 6761 and 305.5x on round 691, and seven finished under 20x. They came in clumps. Rounds 691 and 706 triggered fifteen spins apart, 3207 and 3223 sixteen, 444 and 484 forty, while the gap from round 3959 to 5658 ran 1,699 spins without one.
The buy is the tamest part of the game. Fifty purchases at 200 returned 8,267, or 0.827x; 36 finished below their price, 23 below half of it, only four below a tenth. The top three were 4.16x (buy 50), 3.21x (buy 41) and 3.18x (buy 38); the floor was 0.057x on buy 10. The running multiplier reached 123x on buy 41 and 100x on buy 29, yet the payouts from those two were 3.21x and 1.59x, because a big total on a losing spin pays nothing. What the 100x buy sells is a fifteen-spin round with a median of 0.61x, not a shot at the 15,000x cap.
- One base round of 2,525x in five tumbles, plus 252.5x and 234x rounds without any scatter
- Five of 23 natural bonuses paid over 100x, the best 472.1x
- Bought rounds cluster around their price: median 0.61x, only four buys under 0.1x
- Twenty spins instead of fifteen in three natural rounds thanks to retriggers
- Without round 5881 the run paid roughly 86%, and 72% of spins returned nothing
- Bankrolls of 50, 100 and 200 bets all broke before spin 2,910, inside a 1,300-bet drawdown that bottomed at spin 5177
- Fifty buys never passed 4.2x; 36 of them lost money
- Round 5881: tumbles of 1.00, 2.00, 0.50 and 6.60, then the multiplier symbols turned the sequence into 5,050, or 2,525x. That single round is 22.7% of all money returned.
- Round 5178 needed just two tumbles for 234x: a 4.00 win multiplied to 468.
- Rounds 691 and 706 both triggered the feature within fifteen spins; the first accumulated a 115x total and paid 305.5x, the second reached 14x and paid 13.25x.
- No natural trigger for 1,699 spins between rounds 3959 and 5658, then two of the five biggest bonuses of the run in the next 1,100 spins.
- Buy 41 built a 123x running multiplier, the largest of all fifty purchases, and returned 3.21x; buy 50 built 67x and returned 4.16x.
- The longest dead run, 27 spins from round 6156, started 275 spins after the 2,525x round.

FAQ
5 questions · answered from the logHow did one spin pay 2,525x?
Round 5881 ran five tumbles. The first four paid 1.00, 2.00, 0.50 and 6.60 on a 2.00 stake, small stuff, but multiplier symbols stayed on the screen through all of them. When the tumbling stopped their values were summed and the 10.10 sequence was multiplied to 5,050. That is the 1000 version's design: the multiplier list goes up to 1000x and the sum is applied once, at the end.
More volatile than the first Starlight Princess?
The cap is 15,000x instead of 5,000x and the largest single multiplier is 1000x instead of 500x, so the tail is longer. In our log that showed up as a 26.6 standard deviation on the per-spin return, a 71.6% blank rate and a median hit of 0.8x. The average hides everything: 111.33% with the big round, about 86% without it.
Ante bet: worth switching on?
Twice the natural trigger rate for a spin that costs 25% more, and no buy button while it is on. We did not measure it. The regular mode produced 23 triggers in 10,000 spins, one per 435, so an ante player at the same rate would expect one per roughly 217 spins; the server declares 96.5% for both modes.
Typical result of the 100x buy?
The middle of the fifty purchases was 0.61x, the mean 0.827x, and fourteen of them paid at least their price. The best was 4.16x on the last buy of the set. The running multiplier reached 123x once and 100x once, on buys 41 and 29, but those rounds paid 3.21x and 1.59x, because the total only matters on spins that also produce an eight-of-a-kind.
Why do the free spins pay less than the base game in this test?
Because the base game contained a 2,525x round and the bonuses did not: all 23 natural rounds together were 17.5% of the return, the one base round 22.7%. Typical bonus results were 33.5x at the median with five rounds over 100x, which is a healthy feature; it simply cannot compete with a 500x multiplier landing on a tumbling base spin.
