Starlight Princess
The rare slot in this lab where the base game produced the biggest hit. One 430x tumble on spin 8581 pulled the whole run back from a 1,940-bet hole; the buys, for once, came out ahead.

How it plays
7 rules screens from the gameStarlight Princess runs on the same engine as Gates of Olympus, with a 6×5 grid where eight or more matching symbols anywhere on screen pay and tumble away for new ones. The difference is cosmetic: sun, heart, moon and star emblems at the top of the paytable, coloured gems below, and the princess as the scatter. The longest base-game chain in our log was 11 steps (round 8996).
Orbs are the volatility: any spin can drop multiplier orbs worth 2x to 500x, and when the tumbling stops every orb on screen is summed and applied to that spin's total. In the base game that sum is applied once and then forgotten, which is what turned a four-step chain into 430x on round 8581, and a seven-step chain into 232x on round 7751.
Fifteen free spins start when four or more princess scatters land; inside the feature the orb values accumulate into one total multiplier that grows for the rest of the round, and three scatters add five spins. None of our 22 natural bonuses retriggered; 4 of the 50 bought ones did.
Two optional levers exist: paying 25% more per spin doubles the scatter count on the reels, and the buy button starts the feature for 100x the stake. The server reports 96.5% for regular play, ante play and the purchase, and the game advertises a 5,000x ceiling.

Verdict
who it suits, who should skip itWho gets value here: players who like a base game with real teeth. Eighteen base-game rounds passed 50x in ten thousand spins, five passed 100x, and the 430x on round 8581 arrived two spins after the balance hit its lowest point, 1,940 bets down. That single spin is why the last thousand spins of the log show a 144% return while the first thousand show 82%.
The feature is steady rather than spectacular in this run: 22 triggers, all 15 spins long, 53x on average, with 198x on round 3216 and 164x on round 977 at the top and one round (1492) that paid nothing at all. Waiting for it took 455 spins on average, and the gap between two triggers went as long as 1,178 spins.
The buys deserve a careful read. Fifty purchases at 200 returned 10,738 in total, 1.07x of their price, which makes Starlight Princess the first game in this lab where buying finished in profit. But the median buy was 0.84x, 32 of 50 lost money, 19 returned less than half, and the whole edge came from nine rounds above 2x, the best 4.48x on buy 29. Take the 1.07x as one sample, not a promise.
- Five base-game rounds above 100x in 10,000 spins, the largest 430x
- Buys came out at 1.07x of price over 50 purchases, with nine rounds above 2x
- Hits on 29% of spins and no dead stretch longer than 18
- Every round, including the zero bonus, is in the downloadable log
- 88.17% measured return over 10,000 spins, eight points under the declared 96.5%
- 32 of 50 buys lost money and the median purchase returned 0.84x
- The balance was 1,940 bets down before one spin rescued it
- Natural triggers came every 455 spins on average, with one gap of 1,178
- The 430x hit on round 8581 came from the base game, not the feature: a four-step tumble with orbs on screen, landing two spins after the deepest drawdown of the run.
- Dry spells never went past 18 spins (rounds 7142–7159 and 4599–4616), the shortest longest-drought of any slot in this lab so far.
- Natural bonuses ran exactly 15 spins every time, 22 out of 22, and the gap between triggers stretched from 18 spins to 1,178.
- Buys returned 107% in total but only because of nine rounds above 2x; the median purchase gave back 0.84x and buy 14 ended at 0.05x.
- Round 1492 was a free-spins round that paid zero: fifteen spins, no paying screen under the orbs.

FAQ
4 questions · answered from the logIs Starlight Princess just Gates of Olympus with a different skin?
Mechanically yes: the same 6×5 tumble grid, the same 8+ pay rule, the same orb multipliers, 15 free spins from four scatters and a 100x buy. The paytable and the art differ, and in our runs the outcomes differed a lot: Gates paid 80% over 10,000 spins with buys at 0.77x, Starlight paid 88% with buys at 1.07x. That gap is sample noise, not a different engine.
What was the biggest win and where did it come from?
430x the bet on round 8581, in the base game, from a four-step tumble with multiplier orbs. The best free-spins round was 198x on round 3216. Counting everything, five base-game rounds and two bonus rounds passed 100x.
Did buying the bonus pay?
Over 50 buys at 200 each, yes by a little: 10,738 back for 10,000 spent, 1.07x. Under the average sits a median of 0.84x and 32 losing purchases; the profit came from nine buys above 2x, led by 4.48x on buy 29. One more sample of 50 could easily land below 1x.
How much do the orbs matter in the base game?
They decide whether a chain is small or huge. The orb sum applies only to the spin it lands on, so a 2x orb on a dead screen adds nothing, while the 430x round combined a paying four-step chain with orbs on screen. Only 105 base-game rounds out of 10,000 passed 10x, and all of them were tumble chains.
