How it plays

Big Bass Splash uses five reels, three rows and ten fixed paylines. A line must connect matching symbols from the left edge. Most symbols need three matches; the truck also pays for two. At the USD 2 stake shown in our rule captures, five trucks on one line pay USD 400, before any separate money collection. The fish have two jobs: they can complete an ordinary paying line, and their displayed cash values can be collected during free spins.
The fisherman is the wild and can appear on any reel during the feature. He substitutes for paying symbols and collects the values of all fish visible on that screen. Several fishermen can collect the same fish. Fish values range from 2x to 5,000x the spin stake, while the complete round is subject to the game's win cap. Ordinary fish-line payouts are calculated from the paytable, not from those cash labels.
Three scatters start ten free spins, four start fifteen and five start twenty. Two scatters in ordinary play can sometimes receive help: a downward nudge with a respin of the other reels, or a hook pulling a reel upward to expose another scatter. These events can complete a trigger, but two scatters alone do not guarantee a feature.
Before free spins begin, the game randomly assigns between zero and five modifiers. They can put more fish on the feature reels, put more fishermen there, increase the chance of dynamite, hook and bazooka events, begin at collection level two, or add two spins. The last modifier adds two to the starting award and to every later retrigger. These are automatic selections, with no player choice between the modifiers.
Each group of four fishermen advances the feature and adds ten spins, or twelve with the extra-spins modifier. Money collections use 2x at level two, 3x at level three and 10x at level four. The newly awarded spins wait until the current batch finishes, and their collection multiplier applies when that next batch is played. Level four is the last stage. Starting at level two therefore changes the progression available from the outset.
When fishermen appear without fish, a random dynamite event can add fish; a bazooka can replace the other symbols while preserving the fishermen. With fish but no fisherman, a hook can pull a reel upward to bring one into view. The relevant modifier increases the chance of these events, rather than guaranteeing one on each spin.
Direct bonus access is priced at 100x the spin stake. Its trigger can show anywhere from three to five scatters. We used the USD 200 purchase with a USD 2 spin stake. The English rules list USD 0.10–250 as the stake range, 96.71% theoretical RTP for both access routes, and medium volatility. A 5,000x total award stops the round even if free spins remain. The largest statistical result here was well below that limit.

who it suits, who should skip itMost of the purchased-bonus payout came from collections: USD 5,456, against USD 469.60 from ordinary line combinations. A screen full of fish still needed a fisherman to turn its cash labels into a collection.
Purchases 11 and 25 each received four modifiers. Number 11 paid USD 562.80 over 24 spins; number 25 paid USD 29.20 over its twelve starting spins. No feature in either statistical series received all five modifiers. The opening icons described the conditions for those rounds, but gave a poor guide to their eventual payouts.
Purchase 49 was the clear outlier at USD 1,100. It began at level two with the extra-fishermen modifier, then extended from ten spins to thirty. Its fish collections paid USD 1,086 and line wins added USD 14. This was the only purchase to return at least five times its price. Forty-one of the 50 buys paid less than their cost, and the median return of USD 57.90 was under one third of the USD 200 entry.
Ordinary play first built a surplus. The balance reached USD 101,746 on round 2590, whose natural feature paid USD 697.20. By round 9284 it had fallen to USD 95,513.40, a drop of 3,116.3 stakes from that peak. The final balance recovered to USD 96,628. Those late gains reduced the loss to USD 3,372: the final return was 83.14% of USD 20,000 spent.
The separate English recording is useful for following the collection sequence: its extra-fish bonus paid USD 84 on a USD 200 purchase. Across the statistical purchases, the USD 1,100 best bonus sits inside a series that lost USD 4,074.40. Both entry routes finished behind in this test.

6 questions · answered from the logAre fish cash values paid in the ordinary game?
Fish can pay as matching symbols on the ten lines, using the normal paytable. Their separate cash labels belong to the collection feature: a fisherman must collect those values during free spins. In the purchase sample, collected values paid USD 5,456 and line combinations paid USD 469.60.
Why did purchase 42 begin with seventeen free spins?
Its four triggering scatters awarded fifteen spins, and the extra-spins modifier added two. It therefore began with seventeen and ended with seventeen, paying USD 44. That larger starting award was not a retrigger.
Can I pick which modifiers the bonus receives?
The game assigns them randomly before the feature. Seventeen purchases in this run received no modifiers, twenty received one, nine received two, and two each received three or four. No purchase or natural feature received all five.
What advances the fisherman collection level?
