Three or more clovers on a free spin add five spins to the bonus. Of the 14 purchases that ended above 10 spins, nine received at least one +5 award, and the other five had opened with 20 spins after five clovers on the bought spin and never grew.

How it plays
11 rules screens from the game
Thirty symbols drop onto six reels of five rows, and a symbol pays once 8 or more copies land in any position, at three tiers for 8 or 9, 10 or 11, and 12 or more copies. The green gem is worth 10x, 25x and 50x the bet across those tiers, the blue gem 2.5x to 25x, and the cherries at the bottom of the table 0.25x to 2x. Winning symbols are cleared and new ones tumble in, again and again while each new screen still pays.
The rainbow clover is the scatter. In the base game 4 clovers pay 3x the bet wherever they land, 5 pay 5x and 6 pay 100x, starting 10, 20 or 30 free spins, and a clover pay is added to any symbol wins of the same spin. Inside the bonus the clovers pay nothing, but three or more on one free spin add five spins.
Gift boxes appear only in free spins, each with a random value from 2x to 100x. Once a tumbling sequence has finished, the values of all boxes on the screen are added together and the sequence's total win is multiplied by that sum, so boxes that land on a spin without a win pay nothing.
BUY BONUS costs 100x the bet, FUN 200 when the bet is FUN 2.00 as in this test, and the next spin triggers the free spins; CHANCE x2 raises the stake by a quarter, to FUN 2.50, for better bonus odds and is off while a purchase is active. Game data of this demo build gives 98.21% RTP for regular play, 97.98% for the buy and 98.08% with CHANCE x2. Bets can be set between FUN 0.20 and FUN 20, and the same data rates the chance of the 15,000x maximum win at one in 2,500,000,000.

Verdict
Small tumbles shrank big box sums
Six blank free spins opened round 3245, then the seventh landed boxes of 5x, 50x and 60x on a tumbling sequence worth FUN 10.80, and the 115x sum made it FUN 1,242. That one spin equalled 32.9% of the FUN 3,771.70 paid by all 23 natural bonus rounds counted with their trigger spins, and its round went on to 20 free spins after two +5 awards. Without round 3245, the other 9,999 rounds returned 81.50% of the stake.
Boxes landed on 136 of the 245 natural free spins and found a win to multiply on 48. Those 48 spins paid FUN 3,477.40, 97.2% of free spins money, from FUN 180.40 of tumble wins before multiplication, while every other free spin together added FUN 99.20.
Fifty FUN 200 tickets returned FUN 14,842.20, 148.4% of their cost, although half of them brought back FUN 99.30 or less. The first free spin of ticket 40 supplied FUN 3,748.50 of that total, as boxes of 100x, 50x and 3x met FUN 24.50 of wins; round 3492's three 100x boxes had found only FUN 1.60 to work on.
- Free spin 7 of round 3245 paid FUN 1,242, 621x the stake, from a 115x box sum
- Bought bonuses came to 148.4% of the FUN 10,000 spent on fifty of them
- Natural bonuses had a 30.5x median when counted together with their trigger spins
- Boxes worth 100x showed up 10 times in natural free spins and 21 times in bought ones
- Gift boxes went unpaid on 88 of the 136 natural free spins that held them, for want of a win
- The weakest natural bonus, round 425, came to 4.05x the stake for its trigger and ten free spins
- Ticket 42 paid FUN 8.50 against a FUN 200 price, the lowest return of the 50 purchases

FAQ
7 questions · answered from the log
Do the gift boxes pay anything when a free spin has no win?
No. The boxes are added up only after a tumbling sequence that won something, and their sum multiplies that win. In the 245 natural free spins of the test, boxes landed on 136 spins, 88 of those spins had no win, and 108 of the 181 boxes were lost that way.
I hit three 100x multipliers in Bonanza Billion free spins and won only 240x. Is that normal?
Yes. A box sum multiplies the tumble win under it, so three 100x boxes are worth 300 times whatever that tumble paid. Round 3492 of the test held three 100x boxes on its ninth free spin, the tumble under them came to FUN 1.60, and the spin paid FUN 480, 240x the FUN 2.00 stake.
Bonanza Billion shows 95.97% RTP in some places and 98.21% in others. Which one is right for the demo?
This demo build's game data reports 98.21% for regular play, 97.98% for the bonus buy and 98.08% with CHANCE x2, and the page uses 98.21%; 95.97% is the figure on BGaming's catalogue entry. The 10,000 unbought rounds at a FUN 2.00 bet returned 88.38%. Both declared figures lie inside 72.38% to 104.39%, the range an approximate 95% CI gives for the measured mean.
Do Bonanza Billion free spins come in streaks or spread out evenly?
Unevenly in this test. Rounds 3153 to 3805 of the first lane, 653 rounds, held 7 of the 23 natural triggers, two of them back to back on rounds 3492 and 3493, while the same lane went 1,002 rounds without one after round 1360. Across all 10,000 rounds, triggers averaged one per 434.8 rounds.
Bought for 100x, how often did a bonus earn its price back?
Twelve times in 50. The other 38 tickets paid less than FUN 200, and the median came to FUN 99.30. The 50 still returned FUN 14,842.20 for FUN 10,000 because tickets 40 and 27 paid FUN 3,856.60 and FUN 2,613.40, 43.6% of the total between them.
Can free spins be extended once they start?
Yes, three or more clovers on one free spin add five spins. That happened in 2 of 23 natural bonuses, which reached 15 and 20 spins, and in 9 of 50 purchases; five other tickets ran 20 spins without any extension because five clovers had landed on the bought trigger spin.
Did Bonanza Billion ever pay its 15,000x maximum win during the test?
No. The best ordinary round, 3245, paid 688.75x the stake, and ticket 40, the best purchase, paid FUN 3,856.60, 1,928.3x the FUN 2.00 bet. The build's game data puts the chance of 15,000x at one in 2,500,000,000.
