How it plays

Six reels, and a layout that differs from the usual Megaways: reels one and six hold up to seven symbols, reels two to five up to eight, because a separate top row above the middle four reels spins independently. That gives 200,704 ways at the maximum, and a way pays when one symbol repeats on consecutive reels starting at reel one; the cheetah sits at the top of the table with 50x for six, the card symbols at the bottom with 1x. Every win tumbles: the paid symbols vanish, the rest drop, new ones fill in, and the spin continues until nothing new connects. The rhino wild sits only on that top row.
The feature needs at least four rhino-coin scatters, and it begins with a menu rather than a spin: with four scatters the choices are 15 spins at a 1x starting multiplier, 10 spins at 5x, 5 spins at 10x, or a random combination; five and six scatters add spins to each option. During the feature every tumble adds 1x to the multiplier, and each tumble's win is paid at the current level; three scatters inside the round add five spins with no cap. The lab took the first option, 15 spins from 1x, for all 25 natural rounds and all 50 purchases, so every bonus number on this page describes that mode. Twenty-two natural rounds ran exactly 15 spins; round 3498 started with 19, and two rounds extended from 15 to 20.

Always the first one: 15 spins starting at 1x for a four-scatter trigger, in every one of the 53 natural rounds and 100 purchases of the two runs. The other options trade spins for a higher starting multiplier, 10 spins at 5x or 5 spins at 10x, and the fourth draws both at random; the choice goes to the server through the same request the game client uses, so the other three modes are simply not in this data.
What keeps the base game so flat?
Because the multiplier only exists inside the feature. In the base game a tumble sequence pays each step at 1x, the wild appears only on the top row of the middle reels, and the top symbol pays 50x for six. The best base rounds were 49x on round 2622 of run one and 51.7x on round 3605 of run two, and no scatter-free round in 20,000 spins passed those marks.
How did round 8546 reach 540x?
It was a natural 15-spin round in the first run that produced 13 tumbles. Each tumble adds 1x to the feature multiplier and the multiplier never resets, so wins late in the round were multiplied by 7x to 13x. The log holds the payout, 1,080.00 on a 2.00 stake for the whole round, 1,033.60 of it from the free spins, not the exact reel pictures; run two's best, round 2311, paid 800.60, 792.40 of it from the free spins.
Is 102.55% over two runs a sign of anything?
No, only that twenty thousand spins is still a short sample for a game whose return sits in the feature: the first run came in at 106.85% and the second at 98.26%, and the pooled figure sits 6 points over the declared 96.47% to 96.58% range on the strength of 15 features past 100x. Four bonuses worth 397x to 540x landed in the second half of run one; run two had nothing above 400.3x.
