One buy costs 100 base spins; a natural bonus came once per 400 spins, so buying reached the feature about 4× faster. Natural bonus paid 112.8x of the bet, bought bonuses averaged 113x.

How it plays

7 rules screens from the game

Six reels, and a layout that differs from the usual Megaways: reels one and six hold up to seven symbols, reels two to five up to eight, because a separate top row above the middle four reels spins on its own from right to left. That gives 200,704 ways at the maximum. A way pays when one symbol repeats on consecutive reels starting at reel one; the cheetah sits at the top of the table with 50x for six, the card symbols at the bottom with 1x. Every win tumbles: the paid symbols vanish, the rest drop, new ones fill in, and the spin continues until nothing new connects. The rhino wild sits only on that top row.

The feature needs at least four rhino-coin scatters, and it begins with a menu rather than a spin. With four scatters the choices are 15 spins at a 1x starting multiplier, 10 spins at 5x, 5 spins at 10x, or a random combination; five and six scatters add spins to each option. During the feature every tumble adds 1x to the multiplier, and each tumble's win is paid at the current level; three scatters inside the round add five spins with no cap. The lab took the first option, 15 spins from 1x, for all 25 natural rounds and all 50 purchases, so every bonus number on this page describes that mode. Twenty-two natural rounds ran exactly 15 spins, three were extended by retriggers, the longest to 20.

The same menu appears after a 100x purchase. The ante bet at 25 units instead of 20 doubles the natural trigger rate and disables the buy. The rules give a range for the return, 96.47% to 96.58%, and label the game low volatility; the win cap is 20,000x and stakes run from 0.20 to 300.

Verdict

who it suits, who should skip it

Base play is exactly what the low-volatility label promises and nothing more. Forty percent of spins paid, the median hit was one bet, the longest dead run was 13 spins (rounds 3876 to 3888), and in ten thousand spins no base round passed 49x. Thirty-three base rounds reached 20x. Everything above that came from the feature: all eight rounds over 100x were free-spin rounds, topped by 516.8x on round 8546 and 397x on round 6035, a twenty-spin round after a retrigger.

The balance told the story in two halves. A slow slide to 375 bets down at spin 2332, a partial recovery, then a new low of 398 bets down at spin 6034; from there four bonuses in 2,500 spins (397x, 257.8x, 298.8x, 516.8x) lifted the account to a peak of 828 bets up at round 8546, and it closed at 101,369.20, 685 bets ahead. The 50-, 100- and 200-bet bankrolls were all gone before spin 800, during the first slide.

Twenty-five natural rounds averaged 112.8x with a median of 61.4x. Only three finished under 20x, the smallest 7.5x on round 6665; round 3498 got extra spins and still paid 12x. Triggers came once per 400 spins on average, with the longest wait at 1,086 spins between rounds 4949 and 6035 and two pairs 37 spins apart.

Bought rounds behaved like the natural ones, which is the point of a buy in a game where the feature is the only source of size. Fifty purchases at 200 returned 11,281: 1.128x on average, 0.53x at the median, 33 losers, 17 at or above their price, 11 above 2x, one at 5.63x (buy 38) and one at 0.031x (buy 42). Without the best round the average is still 1.04x. Forty-nine of the fifty ran 15 spins; one retriggered to 20.

Measured upsides
  • Out of 25 natural bonuses, eight passed 100x, the top two 397x and 516.8x
  • Four spins in ten paid; the longest blank stretch was 13
  • Purchases averaged 1.128x, 17 of fifty at or above their price
  • Retriggers have no cap and the multiplier never resets inside the feature
Measured downsides
  • Not one base round passed 49x, so the feature is the only route to a large result
  • Two drawdowns to about 400 bets before the recovery; every tested bankroll busted before spin 800
  • The 10x-start and 5x-start menu options were not measured, only the 15-spin 1x option
What the AI noticed during the run
  • In ten thousand spins the best base-game round was 49x (round 2622, four tumbles), while eight free-spin rounds passed 100x.
  • A retrigger stretched round 3498 to 19 spins and it still paid only 12x; round 6665 ran the standard 15 and paid 7.5x.
  • Rounds 6035, 6173, 8204 and 8546 paid 397x, 257.8x, 298.8x and 516.8x inside 2,500 spins and moved the balance from 398 bets down to 828 up.
  • Round 8546 needed 33 tumbles across its 15 spins; the feature multiplier grows by one on every tumble, so the last wins of that round paid at a very high level.
  • Eleven of fifty purchases returned more than double their price, against four of fifty for Dog House Megaways and three for Wild West Gold Megaways.

FAQ

7 questions · answered from the log
Which free-spins option did the lab pick, and does it matter?
Lab answer

Always the first one: 15 spins starting at 1x for a four-scatter trigger. The other options trade spins for a higher starting multiplier, 10 spins at 5x or 5 spins at 10x, and the fourth draws both at random. The choice goes to the server through the same request the game client uses, so the results are real rounds in that mode; the other three modes are simply not in this data.

What keeps the base game so flat?
Lab answer

Because the multiplier only exists inside the feature. In the base game a tumble sequence pays each step at 1x, the wild appears only on the top row of the middle reels, and the top symbol pays 50x for six. The best base round of the run was 49x on round 2622, and only 33 base rounds reached 20x.

How did round 8546 reach 516.8x?
Lab answer

It was a natural 15-spin round that produced 33 tumbles. Each tumble adds 1x to the feature multiplier and the multiplier never resets, so wins late in the round were multiplied by a number in the twenties or thirties. The log holds the payout, 1,033.60 on a 2.00 stake for the free-spin part, not the exact reel pictures.

Is 106.85% a sign of anything?
Lab answer

Only that ten thousand spins is a short sample for a game whose return sits in the feature. The 95% interval runs from 89.3% to 124.4% and the declared range of 96.47% to 96.58% is inside it. Four bonuses worth 397x to 516.8x landed in the second half of the run; move them out and the figure drops below 93%.

Buy or wait?
Lab answer

Both routes produced similar rounds here: a natural median of 61.4x against a bought median of 53x, natural mean 112.8x against bought mean 112.8x. Buying skips the base game, which returned 73.6% of the total but never produced a big round; waiting costs about 400 spins per trigger at 1x each. A player who only wants the feature loses little by paying for it here.

Ante bet on this game: what changes?
Lab answer

It prices a spin at 25 units instead of 20 and loads extra scatters onto the reels so the feature arrives about twice as often; the buy button is disabled while it is on. The lab measured regular play only, where the feature arrived once per 400 spins.

How does the top row work?
Lab answer

Reels two to five carry an extra row above the main grid that spins independently from right to left, which is why those reels can show up to eight symbols and why the ways count reaches 200,704. The rhino wild lives only on that row and substitutes for everything except the scatter.
